Lateness, Absence, & Make-up Classes

• Students must arrive to class on time. If they fail to do so, they will no receive extra time.

• Students who are absent from class without reason will be deemed to have abandoned the class, and thus no make-up classes or refunds will be arranged.

• If students would like to take leave, they must notify us two days in advance, and the date and time of the make-up class must be arranged within two days. The confirmed make-up class time cannot be changed. Due to the design of the course, students who would like to take leave must complete the make-up class within one week to ensure that the students can catch up with the other students, otherwise they may not be able to complete their artwork. All make-up classes must be completed within one week of the absence from class.

Payments & Refunds

• Students must pay the tuition fee for the next class in the last class of the previous term, otherwise their classes would not be arranged.

• Our classes are served with a first-come first-serve basis. Full payments must be made in order to confirm the registration.

• Once the class is confirmed, no refunds will be given for any reason. Payments made are not transferable to other people, nor to classes/products/services/workshops. 
   

Choice-based Art Class

• Choice-based art classes take the “student-centred” concept as the teaching direction. The themes/topics and mediums are decided by the students, and the direction of the work (practice) will be discussed with the teacher. Please note that the direction of the artwork, researching, practice(s) before painting, waiting for the painting to dry, cleaning and tidying up tools, etc. are all part of the students' classroom learning process, and will be counted in the number of hours in the classroom.

• The 12-hour package will be valid for one year form the date of purchase. Expired packages will be considered invalid.

• Minimum class time is one hour per session.

• Classes are taught in units of 30 minutes, and less than 15 minutes will be counted as 30 minutes.

• The course is taught in small classes and there is no one-to-one teaching.

Bad Weather

• If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or the Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is hoisted, we will arrange another time slot for students for make-up classes. If they are absent from the make-up classes, the classes will not be rescheduled.

• Photos  Video Recording

• We will take photos and film videos for teacher training and promotional purposes(on social media such as Facebook and Instagram) 。If parents are not comfortable with us doing so， please notify us through email (info@platform-art-jamming-studio.com).

Retrieving Artworks

• Due to the limited space, all artworks finished in our company must be retrieved within a month of completion, otherwise the works will be processed separately without prior notice.

Personal Belongings

• In any event, Platform Art Jamming Studio and its staff are not responsible for any loss or damages of any student’s and costumer’s personal belongings and property. Hence, we advise students and customers not to bring any valuables to class.
   

If there are any disputes, the final decision of Platform Art Jamming Studio shall prevail.
